NYC Cab Experience Map

Hailing and riding in a NYC cab can be simultaneously frustrating and gratifying. In an effort to improve one's experience with taxis, I analyzed each component of the experience, mapped their relationship to each other over time, and documented where the experience fell short for both new and seasoned cab riders. My maps surface overlooked opportunities for interactions between drivers and passengers, real-time information about the when and where to hail an available cab, and suggest ways to improve the in-cab experience.
